        Welcome back to my home page, I finally got it updated (4/99) I hope you enjoy the new photos. 

        Tatonka (means buffalo) was adopted by our family on Aug. 24, 1998.  Which was 8 years to the day after they adopted me!  I was (1) when I came to live with the Hunter's, Tatonka was just 5 months old.                    

        Tatonka just turned 1 yr. old this month and I turned 9, we are  about the same size now.  I'm  22" tall at the shoulder and  78lbs., Tatonka is 21" and weighs 72lbs.  I am however clearly the more superior and intelligent one, but Tatonka is learning fast.  I am trained to guard my family.  Tatonka on the other hand will just howl her head off when a stranger comes by.

Our new family addition arrived  8/24/98 weighing in at 50 lbs. had funny ears and big paws!
