Welcome to our town, community and nearby cities.  

            These are photos that we have taken around where we live, and nearby towns such as Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, San Francisco.

            The town we live near is called Santa Cruz, it is about 65 miles south of  San Francisco. The small area we live in is called Aptos.  This is about 8 miles south of Santa Cruz.  We often walk over to the park across the street and sit on a bench above the beach. We have witnessed the most incredible sunsets from there.  Not to mention great waves.

                        One photo is a great aerial view of our neighborhood.  We live on the last street before the farmers field across from the ocean.  Our yard is home to many different kinds of birds.  A few of them are photographed here, such a Orioles, and a Hummingbird.

             Santa Cruz has one of the oldest boardwalks on the west coast.  Which boasts one of the oldest roller coasters in the United States.
